Boat Capsizes In Sokoto River, See Shocking Number Of Dead Victims. A boat accident which occurred on Saturday in a river in Bengaji District of Yabo Local Government Area of Sokoto State, has reportedly left no fewer than six persons dead. The Assistant Information Officer of the local government, Alhaji Mika’ilu Sabo-Yabo, who confirmed the deaths in a statement issued to newsmen, Sunday in Sokoto, said that six persons sailing on a boat, died after the boat capsized, adding that four other passengers of the unlucky incident, survived with minor injuries.
