When a six-year-old boy saw his little sister being attacked by a dog he didn’t hesitate to jump in and protect her. Bridger from from Cheyenne, Wyoming in the US has been dubbed a hero after he selflessly stepped in to stop a dog charging toward his sister. “On July 9, my 6-year-old nephew Bridger saved his little sister’s life by standing between her and a charging dog. “After getting bit several times on the face and head, he grabbed his sister’s hand and ran with her to keep her safe,” Bridger’s aunty, Nikki Walker, wrote on Instagram. “He later said, ‘If someone had to die, I thought it should be me’,” Ms Walker explained on Monday. Attached to the shocking story were heartbreaking images of Bridger looking bruised and battered with “90 stitches (give or take) from a skilled plastic surgeon”.
