Barely any hours prior, reports made the rounds of a 49-year elderly person, one Ikechukwu Atansi, who’d been captured by the Anambra State Police order for the supposed homicide of his two months pregnant spouse.

State’s police representative, Haruna Mohammed who affirmed the episode said the Central Police Station Awka got a pain call at about 8:30am on Thursday March 26, about an uncommon smell turning out from Atansi’s room.

“The husband was subsequently arrested and he is assisting the Police with useful information to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
