Every pearl is the consequence of an oyster that has been hurt by a grain of sand that has entered its interior.
An oyster that hasn't been hurt can't produce pearls. In the inner part of the mollusk is a substance called ′′ nacar ′′ and when a grain of sand accidentally penetrate vs into the inside of the oyster's valves, it covers it with thousands and thousands of layers of nacar to protect itself.
As a result, a beautiful and brilliant pearl is forming. I mean, pearls are nacar cysts that form the molluscs to isolate a strange body that has entered its body.
Although its size is very small, the world's largest pearl weighs 34Kg, a rareness that was found on Palawan Island with priceless value.
