"God Asked Me To Kill The Native Doctor Because He Was Disturbing Me Spiritually"- Pastor Says

The police officers of the Anambra State Command of the Nigerian Police Force were reported to have arrested a 21- year- old pastor, who was later identified as Mr. Uchenna Chukwuma, for the alleged murder of a 60- year- old native doctor at Umusiome Nkpor in the Idemili North local government area of the state.

According to KANYIDAILY, It was also reported that the 21- year- old pastor, Mr. Uchenna Chukwuma, was arrested for how he macheted a Native doctor, who was later identified as Mr. Oliver Chukwudi Ugwu, to death, claiming he was sent by God to kill him.

The spokesman of the Anambra State Command of the Nigerian Police Force, SP Haruna Mohammed, who was present at the scene where the suspect was paraded, made mention of how the 21- year- old pastor, Mr. Uchenna Chukwuma, was arrested for the murder of a native doctor on Saturday afternoon, which was the 3rd of September, 2021.

SP Haruna Mohammed further stated that the 60- year- old native doctor, Oliver Chukwudi Ugwu, who lives at Umusiome in Nkpor but hails from Umuavor village Abor in the Udi local government area of Enugu State, was brutally murdered with a machete by a 21- year- old self- acclaimed pastor, Mr. Uchenna Chukwuma of Ugwuezue street, Umusiome Nkpor in Idemili North local government area of Anambra State.

In his words,

" On Saturday afternoon, which was the 3rd of September, 2021, at around 2: 10 pm, we received a report from one of the residents of Ugwuezue street in Umusiome Nkpor in the Idemili North local government area of Anambra State on how a 60- year- old native doctor, Mr. Oliver Chukwudi, was allegedly murdered by a 21- year- old pastor, Mr. Uchenna Chukwuma. "

" But from the investigation carried out by the police detectives of the Anambra State Command of the Nigerian Police Force, we discovered that the 21- year- old pastor, Mr. Uchenna Chukwuma, macheted the 60- year- old native doctor, Mr. Oliver Chukwudi, to death because the victim was disturbing him spiritually and had not allowed him to progress financially. "

The Confessional Statement Of The Suspect

After the 21- year- old pastor, Mr. Uchenna Chukwuma, was arrested by the police officers of the Anambra State Command of the Nigerian Police Force, he confessed to having committed the heinous act because he was directed by God to kill the 60- year- old victim who was disturbing him spiritually and financially.

Mr. Uchenna Chukwuma also said that the 60- year- old native doctor, Mr. Oliver Chukwudi, who hails from Umuavor village Abor in the Udi local government area of Enugu State, was responsible for all the evil doings happening in Umusiome Nkpor in the Idemili North local government area of Anambra State.

" I have been a pastor in Umusiome Nkpor in Idemili North local government area, Anambra State, for some years now and there have been a lot of evil acts being carried out in my area. It got to the point that I had to pray to God to reveal to me who was responsible for the strange deaths, missing people, immoral attrocities, and other strange things happening in the Umusiome Nkpor community. "

" As I was praying on Friday night, which was the 2nd of September, 2021, God revealed to me that the 60- year- old native doctor, whom we all know as Oliver Chukwudi, was the one responsible for all the evil acts happening in the Umusiome Nkpor community in the Idemili North local government area of Anambra State. "

" God also revealed to me that Oliver Chukwudi was responsible for the stunted growth of my church, so I decided to kill him inside his shrine. So God asked me to kill the native doctor because he was disturbing me spiritually and had not allowed me to progress financially. "

The Reactions Of The Divisional Police Officers Of Ogidi Division Towards The Incident

The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ogidi Division, CSP Ekuri Remigius, led his best team of police detectives to the scene of the incident and immediately rushed the 60- year- old Native doctor, Oliver Chukwudi, who was found in his own pool of blood, to Anambra State University Teaching Hospital, Ogidi for medical treatment.

However, it was said that the medical professionals who were present at the hospital pronounced the victim dead on arrival and his corpse was deposited at the hospital mortuary for a post- mortem test to be carried out so as to ascertain the circumstances surrounding his death.

Also, CSP Ekuri Remigius stated that the machete used by the 21- year- old pastor, Mr. Uchenna Chukwuma, to slaughter the 60- year- old Native doctor, Oliver Chukwudi, was recovered as an exhibit that will be used against the suspect in the court of law. The case was also transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCIID) in Awka for discreet investigation in order to unravel the actual circumstances surrounding the incident.
