A lady by the name Veronica has painfully narrated how her bishop beat her up in front of the congregation with wires and a microphone for refusing to pick up his calls. She wet on herself because of the pain she felt.
Her bishop decided to punish her for not picking up his calls. He whipped her mercilessly until she urinated on herself and could not walk.
After meeting her husband in a church she was attending, they got married there after he proposed to her and they started living together as husband and wife, although things were difficult for them. After a few months, she claims, her husband began having relationships with other women, and whenever she tried to ask him about it, he would viciously beat her up.
After her husband refused to allow her to attend church, she decided to leave her husband and start a new life on her own. Veronica claims that after joining her new church, the bishop of that church selected her as his personal assistant because of her dedication to the church.
When the bishop prayed for a sick infant and demanded a large sum of money to perform the deliverance, she changed her mind and went to a prayer center to beg God for guidance. Her phone was in silent mode when her church bishop called her, and she didn’t pick up his calls or return them.
On Sunday, she went to church for the Sunday service. She was informed that her church bishop wanted to see her. She hurried to meet him in his office. She saw her church members seated. Her bishop accused her of sleeping around with men. That was the reason she didn’t pick up his calls.
Leaders and other pastors urged her to kneel down and beg forgiveness for not returning his phone calls because she was too busy having affairs with other men, according to her. As she knelt down to beg his bishop, he picked up wires and started beating her body. He picked up a microphone and hit her.
After the bishop beat her with microphone cables that she had wet on herself because of the anguish she felt, she never went to that church again since she thought it was so embracing to her. As Veronica explains, she’s now a member of another church and teaching the word of God, and she’s urging others to do the same and be mindful of the church they attend. Will accept this kind of punishment from any bishop & pastor?
