TRAGIC! ! ! Young Man Drowns Inside Swimming Pool On Valentine's Day

A 27- year- old man has reportedly died after he drowned inside a swimming pool in a hotel he lodged at on Valentine' s day.

The young man who was identified as Adekunle Ojo, was said to have left his family house in the Unity Aghedo Estate in Ipaja area of Lagos state, to attend a pool party at a hotel with some of his friends.

Ojo was said to have attended the pool party in the company of some of his friends and it was reported that they drank a lot of alcohol at the party, although the circumstances surrounding the young man' s death still remains unclear, however it was learnt that he stayed back and continued swimming in the pool even after the party was over, it was learnt that the deceased continued swimming in the pool for before he suddenly went quiet, he was later discovered floating inside the pool and his body was immediately removed from the pool.

After pulling him out of the water, the deceased was immediately rushed to the Igando General Hospital where he was later confirmed dead. The incident was immediately reported at the Alagolo Police Station and Ojo' s family members were contacted.

The father of the deceased identified as Mr Femi while speaking about the incident revealed that the circumstances surrounding his son' s death is still shrouded in mystery, he also added that after he was informed about his son' s death, he sent two of his children to go to the Police station and get details about what happened to their brother, he also added that after interrogations, the manager of the hotel claimed that Ojo stayed back at the hotel to swim after other guests had left the pool.
